Obituary

Mr. John Fador, 90, a resident of Athens, AL, formerly from Tipp City, OH, passed away from this life into the presence of his Lord and Savior April 3, 2017, at Athens Limestone Hospital. He was born in Black Oak, OH, on September 8, 1926, to Pauline and Frank Fador.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, his brothers, Andy Fador, David Eugene Fador, and Frank Fador; sisters, Annie Fador Gretchen, Elizabeth Fador Black, and Rose Fador Sadlowski; and his wife Elizabeth Wespremi Fador.

He is survived by his daughters, Susan Denise Fador Neff and Leslie Dianne Fador; grandchildren, Joseph Cook and Jennifer Dodson; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hailey Cook; step-grandson, Ryan John Stiles; long-time friends, Charles Hicks, Troy Todd and Joyce Karns; caregiver, Tammy Timbes, many loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Fador was a WWII navy veteran who served his country as a seaman first class.

A retiree of Montgomery County, Dayton, OH and A. O. Smith Corp., Tipp City, OH. He was employed as an electrician who felt a job worth doing was worth doing right.

He enjoyed fixing stuff, helping others and fishing with friends. He was a Christian by God's grace and loved Vandalia Baptist Temple where he was an active member for many years. He was a delight to those who knew him and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. with memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on July 1, 2017, at Vandalia Baptist Temple, 724 Helke Road Vandalia, OH, with Reverend Troy Todd and Reverend Randy Washburn officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371.
