Obituary

Beyl, John Allen 85 a lifelong resident of Bethel Township and Tipp City Ohio, passed away 1 July 2011. He was born 1 April 1926 to the late Allen and Mabel Beyl and graduated from Tippecanoe High School in 1944. He was an U.S. Army Veteran of WW II serving in the 753rd Tank Battalion. After WW II he began his financial career as a teller working in Tipp Citizens National Bank and Monroe Federal Savings and Loan Association working his way up to the President/CEO, retiring 1 June 1990. He served as Clerk Treasurer of Bethel Local Schools, President and Board Member of the Bethel Local Schools Board of Education, Board Member of the Miami County Board of Education and Montgomery County Joint Vocational Schools. He was preceded in death after 59 years by the love of his life, his wife Doris Arlene Tittle, 2 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his sister, Joanne Sheley, sister-in-law, Phyliss Tittle, daughter, Barbara Heilman, son-in-law/best friend Michael Heilman, his 3 grandsons, Greg, Will and Joe Kessler, 4 great-grandsons, Ethan, Dylan, Jayden and James and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services 10:30 AM on Wednesday 6 July, 2011 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, Ohio 45371, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
