Joann Penrod

Penrod, Joann age 93 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, October 19, 2026 at her home. She was born July 27, 1933 in Bradford, Ohio to Elvin J. Hissong and Dorothy I. {Westfall} Hissong Ferguson. Joann is preceded in death by her parents and step father, Van Ferguson and sister Karolyn Kay Simon. She is survived by her children, Greg (Diane) Looker of Jacksonville, Florida, Michael S. (Denise) Looker of Stow, Ohio and Kelly T. Looker of Tipp City, Ohio, her sister, Joyce (Cliff) Reed of Louisville, Kentucky, step brother Michael (Chris) Ferguson and brother in law Jim Simon. Also surviving are grandchildren Scott (Liz), Jeff (Dana) and Jordan, great grandchildren Meghan, Catherine, Nathaniel, John, Joseph and Addilyn and three great great grandchildren.

Joann devoted 60 years to her career as a hairdresser in Tipp City, where she had the pleasure of serving generations of clients and building lasting friendships along the way. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Visitation will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
