Jerry Lynn Harris

Jerry Lynn Harris, born September 9, 1943 in Durant Oklahoma, passed away May 3, 2026 in Englewood, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cordelia Nix Harris, his father, James Harris, son Mitchell Harris. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kymberly Gardner-Harris of Tipp City, Ohio, children Melissa Griffin of Colorado and Kenneth Wenze (Troy) of California, grandchildren James Griffin, Cassandra Griffin and Kaitlyn Peterson (Justin), great grandchildren Isla Mauk Peterson and Francisco Peterson. He spent his adult life in law enforcement and retired in 2008 as Senior Chief Investigator for the Federal Public Defender for the State of New Mexico.
