DeBord, Jerry age 80 of East Schodack, NY, formerly of Tipp City, OH passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland, NY. Born November 14, 1936 in Oneida, Tennessee to; Tyler E. and Mossie Lee {Davis} Debord. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerome Debord, brother, Jack Debord and sister, Jean Jeffers. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Dorothy M. {Holtke} DeBord, daughter, Natalie and her husband Dave Watson, all of East Schodack, NY, sisters, Jessie Sandlin and Peggy Crawford both of Nicholasville, KY. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Joshua and Jonathan Watson and Ashley McGinnis. Jerry was a member of the VFW Post 4615, American Legion Post 586 and Eagles Lodge Post 2201 all in Tipp City. Jerry worked as a tool and die machinist and retired from General Motors. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Jerry enjoyed horses, his farm he owned in Covington, OH and hunting and fishing with his grandsons. His whole life was devoted to his family and his grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Noon on Friday, February 17, 2017 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371.
