Welty, Jeffery William age 59 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away on September 24, 2021 in Dayton, Ohio. Born February 13, 1962 in Troy, Ohio to the late Miller and Margaret {Buckles} Welty Jr. Jeff is survived by his siblings; Douglas Welty, Carol DeHart, and Gregory Welty, nieces and nephews; Benjamin Wayne Welty, Mary Elizabeth Welty, Abigail Kathleen (John) Krause, Pamela Furlong, Matt Yetter, and Phillip Welty.

Jeff graduated from Tippecanoe High School in 1980 and went on to get his Bachelors of Science in Economics in 1984 and his Masters of Art in Economics in 1986 from Wright State University. Later he worked as a contractor for Northup Grummen, and then went back to his Alma Mater as an Adjunct Professor for Wright State, as well as, Edison State where he ultimately retired.

Jeff liked reading, bicycling, sports, and politics. He was a very private person but enjoyed helping his elderly neighbors with chores. He especially loved being outside.
