McCracken, Jeanne Elinor 87 of Tipp City passed away Tuesday March 20, 2012 at Spring Meade Health Center, Tipp City, after an extended illness. Born April 20, 1924 in Sidney, Ohio to Frank L. and Emma {Barnhorst} Schlagetter, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband of 65 years; George McCracken, daughter; Marianne and her husband James Hartke, Tipp City, son; Dr. Joseph (Lisette) McCracken, Nutley, NJ, grandchildren; Gregory Hartke, Vandalia, David (Amy) Hartke, Cincinnati, Philip (Courtney) Hartke, Centerville, Maria Hartke, Tipp City, Jenna McCracken (Edward) Parks, Iowa City and Matthew McCracken, San Francisco, CA. Jeanne was a registered nurse and worked in labor and delivery at Good Samaritan Hospital for 41 years before retiring. She was a graduate of Good Samaritan school of nursing and a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Tipp City. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 AM, Monday, March 26, 2012 at St. John's Church, 753 S. Hyatt St., Tipp City, Father R.
