Smith, Jean Marie, age 87, of Tipp City, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband James Smith, her parents Agnes and Chester Boyer, and her brother Chester Boyer Jr. She is survived by her children, Anthony Smith of Tipp City, Lee Smith (Lavelle) of Botkins, and Michelle Kosins (Ross) of Centerville. She had four grandchildren who were the joy of her life; Ginger Heuker of Botkins (Steve), Max Smith of Botkins (Cara), Daniel Smith of Huber Heights (Julia) and Briana Elliott of Centerville (Kyle). She also has five great grandchildren, Kayla, Spencer and Carmen Heuker, Brianna Charles and Layla Smith. Jean retired from selling Avon at the age of 81 after 41 years. She enjoyed playing cards, watching basketball and spending time with friends and family. She will be greatly missed by her family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday January 27, 2017 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371. Visitation will be held 9:30 AM until time of service on Friday. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Jean to Hospice of Miami County.
