Janice Lou (Adams) Zickafoose, age 79 of Tipp City, passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. She was preceded two days prior by her husband of 60 years, Willard "Bill" Scott Zickafoose. Janice was born in 1936 in Lima, Ohio. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, doing puzzles, and going on trips, especially to Florida, and was a member of Eastern Star for over 50 years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family at Christmas, and nothing marked the season more than her cookies. She leaves a legacy of laughter and love that will never be forgotten. In her final days, she wanted to remind us what her parents taught her: that we should all love one another! She is survived by her five children and their spouses (Jeff and Michele (Hughes) Zickafoose, Valerie (Zickafoose) and Rick Baker, Christine (Zickafoose) and Tom Homan, Michael and Jodee Zickafoose, and Steven and Melissa (Hinkle) Zickafoose), 15 grandchildren and their spouses (Joseph Zickafoose and Dolly Ann Padovani-Claudio, Jason and Breann (Hill) Zickafoose, Jacob Zickafoose, Richard Baker III, Robert Baker, Craig Jr. and Allison (Mount) Heitzman, Christopher Heitzman, Cole Heitzman, Brianne (Drury) and Derek Houle, Dallas Drury, Tyler Zickafoose, Hunter Zickafoose, Paige Zickafoose, Owen Zickafoose, and Sarah Zickafoose), 4 great-grandchildren (Gabriela Zickafoose-Padovani, Lucas Zickafoose-Padovani, Lucy Zickafoose, and A.J. Zickafoose), and her two brothers and spouses (Dave and Betty Adams and Gary and Shirley Adams) and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary (Seitz) and Robert Adams. Visitation will be from 1 to 4 PM at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home on Saturday, January 16. A memorial service will follow directly. Janice will be laid to rest with Bill in Lima, Ohio.
