PETERS, Janet Leora, age 78 passed away March 10, 2011. A longtime resident of Tipp City, Ohio, Janet was born in Dayton, Ohio. She is preceded in death by husband, James H. Peters, and parents, John and Florence Ely. Janet is survived by sister Geraldine Nesbitt and six children: Mark Peters (Kim), Matt Peters (Jill), Chris Peters (Kari), Lora Heddleston (George), Liana Tinsley (Kevin) and Lisa Kiger (David). She was blessed with 15 grandchildren: James Peters, Bradley Peters, Cole Radetich, Daniel Peters, Dresden Peters, Sally Peters, Sarah Heddleston, Geordie Heddleston, Maecie Heddleston, Lydia Heddleston, Jackson Tinsley, Lia Tinsley, Garret Kiger, Aubry Kiger and Janna Kiger.

Janet was a graduate of the Northridge High School class 1950. Throughout her life she enjoyed many successes but counted her role as mother and grandmother as her most precious accomplishment.

The family will receive friends Monday, March 14, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 15 at 10:30 am at St. John's United Church of Christ, 515 E. Third St., Dayton, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Miami County or the St. John's United Church of Christ Memorial Fund.
