Jones, Janet S. age 77 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025. She was born February 3, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio to Ray and Fern {Crawford} Collins. Janet is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Claude C. Jones Jr in 2013. She is survived by her daughter Carol Rae (Jared) Federle of Tipp City, step children; Claude (Jennifer) Jones III of Versailles, Mica Pierson of Troy, Andrea (Scott) Wieland of North Carolina, Tammy (Steve) Walsh of Milford and daughter-in-law Becky Jones of Tipp City, siblings Joyce (Charlie) Hoskins of Miamisburg, Linda Whitaker of Salyersville, Kentucky, Donna Fletcher of Salyersville, Kentucky and Marvin Collins of Miamisburg. Also surviving are grandchildren Carli, Griffin, Taylor, Payton, Mitchell, Jordan, Tarah, Casey, Sammy, Jarrod, Taylor, Jackson, Jason, Michelle, Justin and Jeremy and several great grandchildren.

Janet was a 1966 graduate of Brookville High School. She enjoyed Diet Coke, magazines, reality TV, word searches, and listening to Waylon Jennings. Janet loved her trips to the beauty shop and looked forward to her "Walmart Wednesdays." She was affectionately known as the "Laundry Fairy." She especially enjoyed hosting holidays and spending time with her family, who were the center of her world—particularly her beloved grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held 5:30-9:30 PM Saturday, November 15, 2025 at American Legion Post #586, 377 N. Third St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
