November 4, 1952 – February 26, 2025

Janet Louise Chamberlain, aged 72 of Indianapolis, formerly of Tipp City, Ohio, passed away February 26th following an extended illness. Janet Louise was born in Urbana, Ohio. She was the third of four children.

Early Life and Education: An excellent student, Janet, graduated from Tippecanoe High School Tipp City, Ohio where she was a member of the Latin club and played flute in the school's bands. While residing in Tipp City, Janet was a member of the Tipp City United Methodist Church the 4-H club and Girl Scouts.

Janet graduated from Bowling Green State University. Upon graduation Janet chose a job in the insurance industry where she had a rewarding career with State Auto Insurance Co. During her insurance career she traveled extensively as an adjuster to assess storm damage.

Family and Legacy: Janet was predeceased by her parents, Oliver Jesse Chamberlain, Jr. and Elizabeth Jane Chamberlain (nee' Roberts); and her sister Carol Margaret Chamberlain. Janet is survived by her life-partner Larry Twigg, sister and brother-in-law, Lauren and Donald Czehut of Crosswicks, NJ and brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Mary Chamberlain, Sarasota, Florida; along with an extended family of an aunt and uncle, cousins, nieces, nephews, their wives and children. With Larry, Janet helped raise two children, Heath (Terri), and Heather; five grandchildren, Angelica, Marlen, Kiersten Lucas and Addison; and three great grandchildren, Pheonix, Harper, and Nova.

Favorite Pastime: Janet and her friends and family all enjoyed spending their weekends at Walnut Ridge, a family campground in New Castle, Indiana.
