Smith, James W. of Casstown, Ohio passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 25, 2013. Born on September 6, 1941 in Dayton, OH to the late James C. and Anne Jane {Bullock} Smith. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years; Darlene {Minton} Smith, son; Matt Smith, Tampa, FL, daughter; Angie Marra (Scott) Currin, Vine Grove, KY, 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Jim attended Chaminade High School, was a member of the American Legion and VFW in Tipp City, Local Union 132 and NRA. He was employed by Oren and Associates Plastering Company as a plasterer. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 at 11:00 AM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371, Father James Duell officiating, burial to follow in Casstown Cemetery. Visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
