Obituary

James (Jim) Ray Robbins age 80 of Tipp City, Ohio passed peacefully in his sleep Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Kettering Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Jim was born on August 3, 1944 to the late Forrest and Betty {Peters} Robbins. He is preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers Jerry and Bruce Robbins. Jim is survived by his brother William "Bill" (Vicki) Robbins of Naples, Florida, daughter Dawn (Hope) Henry of Knoxville, Tennessee and many other family members across the states.

Jim was a lifelong resident of Tipp City. He graduated from Tippecanoe High School in 1963. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1963-1969. During the Vietnam Era, Jim served as a medic helping his fellow soldiers. He was a member of the Tipp City Eagles and American Legion. Jim was fascinated by wolves. He was a special guy that will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 9, 2025 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in Jim's honor to please consider Jim's favorite wildlife organization, the National Wildlife Federation, www.nwf.org.
