Kindrick, James (Jim) R. Jr. Age 67 of Tipp City, departed this life, Thursday, July 23, 2015. He was born October 30, 1947 in Flushing, N.Y. and grew up in Carmi, Illinois. He was preceded in death by parents, James R. Kindrick Sr. and Julia (Clark) Kindrick and brother, John C. Kindrick. Jim loved the outdoors and while growing up he was involved in the Boy Scouts and earned his Eagle Scout Award which may have helped him survive the Vietnam War as a Medic. Jim worked in supervisor positions with industry in Tipp City but was more notably known working part-time at "Patty's" (Harrison's). He was currently co-owner of Home Comfort Gallery. Jim attended Ginghamsburg UMC and was a member of Franklin Masonic Lodge in Troy. Jim is survived by his wife, Diana Begley; 2 children, Charles Kindrick and Erika (Dan) Seitz; 4 grandchildren Jasmine Redman, Justis Seitz, Janelle Seitz, and Ciaran Kindrick; 3 stepchildren, Tammy (Ron) Sage, Mike (Colleen) Henry and John (Sonya) Begley; 6 step-grandchildren, Kyle Gross, Daniel Gross, Alex Henry, Katie Henry, John P. Begley and Sofia Begley; a brother Jan (Cyndee) Kindrick of Mt. Vernon, Texas; along with a host of loving nieces and nephews. Jim enjoyed spending time with family, camping and bicycling. A Celebration of Life open house will be held Saturday August 1, 2015 at Harrison's Restaurant upper room beginning at 5:00 PM.
