Hale, James D. age 66 of Vandalia, OH passed away Friday, April 15, 2022. James was born on February 1, 1956 to the late John and Mary Lou {Henson} Hale. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Sherry Poff. James is survived by his daughter Shannon (Jeff) English of Vandalia OH, siblings John (Louise) Hale of Urbana, OH, Faye (Butch) Cromer of Troy, OH, brother-in-law Ron Poff of Tipp City, OH, grandson Tyler English and several nieces and nephews.

James was a graduate of Tippecanoe High School class of 1974. He served in the United States Navy for four years during the Vietnam Era. Later James worked in computer sales and was a member of the Tipp City Eagles Aerie 2201.
