Schmidt, Jack C. 83 formerly of Tipp City, OH passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Kensington Care Center, Aurora, OH. Born February 26, 1932 in Laura, OH to Herbert T. and Lenore D. {Lump} Schmidt. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Herbert T. Schmidt Jr. Jack is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Daisy "Terri" M. {Roberts} Schmidt, son, Robert S. (Phyllis) Schmidt, Stow, OH, sister, Jean Ann (Dez) Wolf, Troy, OH along with 4 grandchildren, Justin and Brandon Schmidt, Aaron and Chad Cartwright and 6 great grandchildren. Jack was a 1950 graduate of Troy High School and proudly served his country in the United States Marines. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, going camping with his family and spending time with his grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 8:30 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Visitation 7:00 PM until time of service at 8:30 PM at the funeral home.
