Frey, Helen Louise {Plank} 79 of Bethel Township, Miami County passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center, Edgewood, KY. Born February 26, 1937 in Troy, OH to the late Harold and Florence {Buchholtz} Plank. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Frey, Sr. in 1997 and brother Dale Plank. Helen is survived by her children; Rene Frey, Northern KY, Douglas Frey Jr. and his wife Sheila, Wilmington, OH and Deron Frey, Troy, OH. Also surviving are sister, Jan (Ron) Hamon, Tuscon, AZ, brother, Carl Plank, Troy, OH, grandchildren; Sarah (Berk) Simsek, Drew (Stephanie) Frey, Leah Frey, Shelby (Lance) Koetter and great-grandchildren; Eris, Kyrah and Sofiya. Helen was a 1955 graduate of Tippecanoe High School and a member of the Brandt Methodist Church. She had worked for Dolly Toy Co. and Springhill Nursery, Tipp City. Helen enjoyed cooking, loved the outdoors and spending time with family. Graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, May 9, 2016 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City; Pastor Bonita Ritchie officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until Noon at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371.
