Frakes, Harry E. age 83 of Troy, Ohio died Thursday at Grandview Medical Center. Former resident of Ludlow, Kentucky. Retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad where he was a pipe fitter and sheet metal worker for 46 years. A WWII Navy Veteran who served on the USS Kaskaskia Naval Tanker in the Asiatic Pacific area. Harry was a long time member of the Worldwide Church of God. Survived by his wife Darlene {Sell} Frakes, son; Larry Frakes, Pennsylvania, daughters; Linda (James) Decker and Karen Frakes both of KY, step daughters; Sheryl (Max) Carey, Troy, Carol (Michael) Woelfer, New Carlisle, grandsons; Kevin and Michael Frakes, granddaughters; Shelly Decker, Kimberly Long and Susanne Decker, stepgrandsons; Jason (Theresa) Woelfer, Jeff (Jenna) Woelfer and Tim Woelfer, great granddaughter; Sidney Frakes, great grandsons; Jack Frakes, Andrew Docter, step great granddaughters; Annabelle and Addyson Woelfer.
