Myers, H. Bruce age 90 of Bethel Township, Tipp City passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Hospice of Dayton. Born November 14, 1927 in Troy, OH to Ralph and Lena Irene {Swallow} Myers, who precede him in death. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joyce {Dungan} Myers, daughter, Jeri (Larry) Seaton, Tipp City, OH, sons, Gary (Connie) Myers, Indianapolis, IN, Dan (Marcia) Myers, Kettering, OH and Jim Myers, Philadelphia, PA, 7 grandchildren; Poetry Potts, Kim (Joe) Weaver, Corey Myers, Chris Myers, Melissa Shields, Billy Shields, Stephanie Frye and 7 great grandchildren. Bruce proudly served his county in the United States Army during WWII and worked for TWA as a flight coordinator. He was a member of the American Legion Post #586, Tipp City Senior Citizens, Miami County Fair Board; in charge of harness racing, and was inducted into the Bethel High School Hall of Fame. He enjoyed farming and raising Black Angus cattle. Funeral service Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371; Pastor Bonita Ritchie officiating, burial will follow in New Carlisle Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, January 18th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Donations may be made in loving memory of Bruce to Hospice of Dayton or Tipp City Senior Citizens.
