Brown, Gwinn R. age 90 of Stout, OH, formerly of Bethel Township, OH passed away at Hospice of Dayton on Thursday, January 3, 2019.  He was born November 6, 1928 in Point Pleasant, OH to Gideon and Minnie {Duncan} Brown. Gwinn is preceded in death by both parents, his wife, Martha A. "Georgie" Brown in 2016, brothers, Robert, Harold, Clarence and James Brown and sister, Mary Stover.  He is survived by his children, Don (Denise) Brown, Cross Plains, TX, Richard "Rich" (Annette) Brown, New Carlisle, OH, Miriam Elliott, Stout, OH, Wanda (Jeff) Bear, Dayton, OH and Kathy (Mike) Furlong, Bethel Township, OH along with 7 grandchildren, Christy Dolinger, James Brown, Clare Fabrizio, Taylor Brown, Gwinn Elliott, Kelli Bear and Kenneth Furlong and 9 great grandchildren.

Gwinn worked for many years as an assembler and in the tool crib at General Motors-GMC Moraine.  He owned pool, restaurant and trucking businesses and bought and sold real estate.  He was baptized in the Free Will Baptist Church.  He enjoyed fishing.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371; burial to follow in West Charleston Cemetery, Bethel Township.  Visitation will be 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
