McMaken, Grace {Cheadle} age 91 of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022 in Greenville, Ohio. Grace was born on October 6, 1930 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Hulbert and Virginia (Reed) Pickett.

For many years Grace worked in the hospitality and restaurant industry. She had an active mind and was an avid reader, enjoying crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, and playing Trivial Pursuit and other games with family and friends. An excellent cook and baker, she was known especially for her extraordinary cherry and peanut butter pies. She loved her cat Ginger and enjoyed watching classic movies, her favorite being Gone with the Wind. Her greatest joy was her family.

Grace was preceded in death by her children, Stephen Trissell, Lindsay Brown, Jack Cheadle, and Mark Cheadle. She is survived by her son Jeffrey (Margaret) Cheadle of Moorpark, California; her daughter Jan Chaney of Troy, Ohio; her grandchildren Stevie, Liberty, Brian, Amanda, Ruth, Angela, Ashley, Jack, Ian, Courtney, Jill, and Julie; and by many great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 PM at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home , 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
