Tufano, Gerald J. "Gerry" age 73, of Tipp City, Ohio formerly of Worcester, Dudley and Spencer, Massachusetts,died Friday, October 30, 2015 at his brother and sister-in-law James and Valorie's residence with gracious family by his side, after a hard-fought battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Born April 17, 1942 in Worcester, Massachusetts to Orlando J. and Dorothy R. (Szczurko) Tufano. Gerry proudly served his country in the US Army. He spent many years as a teacher and educational supervisor. He retired from management for Diebold, Inc. in 2008. Preceded in death by his parents and his brother Joseph. Surviving Gerry are his sons Michael L. (Mela) Spencer, Elbert, CO and Anthony J. Spencer, Aurora, CO. Granddaughter Susy Spencer, Elbert, CO. His brothers and sister-in-laws John and Sharon Tufano, Indianapolis, IN and James and Valorie Tufano, Tipp City; and sister-in-law Julia Tufano, Worcester, MA. Also many nieces and nephews. Private funeral services are being held at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to Hospice in loving memory of Gerry.
