Maxton, Gary Lee age 87 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025. He was born May 19, 1938 in Dayton, Ohio to Charles and Ruth {Selby} Maxton. Gary is preceded in death by his parents and wife Elizabeth "Gerry" Maxton. He is survived by his daughter Kelly Davis of Tipp City, step son Eric Applegate of Tipp City, brother Wayne (Mary) Maxton of Centerville, grandchildren Marcedeze (Daniel) Bonilla and Kailey Applegate, great grandchildren Joseph Bonilla and Haven Applegate and niece little Mary (Steven Moore) Maxton and nephew Patrick (Emily) Maxton.

Gary trained in the ROTC program at Oxford Miami where he became 2nd Lieutenant and graduated in 1960 with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. He proudly served his country as a Colonel in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Laon, France. Gary was owner and operator of Micro Chart. He was a member of Rotary in New Carlisle and Masonic Lodge in Dayton. Gary was known as a euchre card shark at the senior centers in Tipp City, West Milton and Englewood. He was an avid fisherman and loved large family gatherings. Gary was a mischievous fun loving man that will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM until time of Memorial Service at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
