Leist, Gail Violet age 87 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away Saturday December 2, 2023. She was born November 25, 1936 in London, Kentucky to Elmer and Leoda {Wardrup} Broughton. Gail is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 50 years; Ronald Leist, siblings; Bonnie, Pansy, Jewel, James, John and Judy. Gail is survived by her sons; Ken Leist of Dayton, Ohio and Steve Leist of Tipp City, Ohio. Also surviving are grandchildren; Amber, Jesse, Joshua and Michael, great grandchildren; Ava and Logan and siblings; Virginia, Ina, Truman and Bruce.

Gail had a large loving family that all worked on the family farm. She moved to Dayton at 18 years old, to live with her sister, and search for other opportunities. That is where she met the love of her life, Ron. Gail loved holiday crafting, quilting, and was an extremely good cook. She was a member of Fort McKinley Church in Dayton, Ohio.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. A private family graveside service will follow.
