Perri, Frank W. age 83 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. He was born March 14, 1943 in Union City, Indiana and was adopted by Frank and Virginia {Delucio} Perri. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Michael Perri. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Kathryn “Kathie” {Lowry} Perri of Tipp City children Dean (Lori) Perri of Shelbyville, Kentucky and Ted (Maureen) Perri of Las Vegas, Nevada, grandson Zachary (Kristin) Perri and great grandson Zachary Dean Jr. “J”. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Jenny (Jamshid) Mesaros, Jef (Lisa) Mesaros and Laura (John) Stanley and great nephews, Maziar and Cameron.
Frank grew up in Bethel Township on Wildcat Road, where he lived his entire life and remained deeply connected to his community. He was a 1962 graduate of Bethel High School. As a young boy, Frank enjoyed playing the accordion, a talent that reflected his love of music and simple joys.
Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and served time in Vietnam. He later continued his service with the Air Force Reserves and was honored to serve on temporary duty in Honduras.
A lifelong lover of the outdoors and rural life, Frank found great enjoyment in camping, farming, growing crops, and caring for animals. He had a strong connection to the land and took pride in the work that came with farm life. He also had a generous heart and gave back to his community by volunteering at the Bethel Hope Food Pantry.Frank retired from Community Hospital in Springfield in 2008, after many years of dedicated work. His love of his community, his country, and the simple pleasures of life will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
A Visitation will be held 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City 45371. Reverend Kathleen Hawkins officiating. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. The family kindly requests that guests dress casually in remembrance of Frank. In lieu of flowers his family suggests that anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in Frank’s honor to please consider, Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, 3230 N. Co.
