Wilson, Faith A. {Whitaker} 79 of Tipp City passed away Christmas Eve morning after a brief battle with cancer. She was born October 24, in Fairfield, OH, the eighth of eleven children to Frank and Martha {Peters} Whitaker. She is preceded in death by both her parents and two grandchildren; Jessica Lynn Geib and Ashley Elizabeth {Wilson} Hofele. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 plus years, Carl Edward Wilson and four children; Stephen (Mary) Wilson, West Milton, OH, Sharon (Samuel) Cassel, Springboro, OH, Sandra (Stephen) Geib, Springboro, OH and Shawn (Kirk) Warren, Strongsville, OH, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 5 brothers. Faith was a member of Northridge Freewill Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, Carl, her children and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her love for family she will be remembered for her love of cooking and canning what Carl grew in the garden; her flowers and the wildlife she fed regularly. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Northridge Freewill Baptist Church, 4800 Payne Ave., Dayton, OH 45414, Pastor Tim Hamilton and Reverend Steve Nichols officiating, burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Vandalia, OH. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Monday and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Faith to Missions for Haiti, in care of the church.
