Buckles, Eloise "Kay" 60 of St. Paris, OH passed away at her home Sunday, August 26, 2012 following a lengthy illness. Born July 10, 1952 in Troy, OH where she was raised by her parents; William V. and Bessie A. {Tompkins} Stump Sr., who precede her in death. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Donald Buckles, children; Eric and his wife Angie Blankenship, Piqua, OH, Matthew Buckles, St. Paris, OH, Christopher Buckles, New Carlisle, OH and Amy Ferguson, Fairborn, OH along with her brother; Bill Stump Jr. Minnesota and sister Lynn and her husband Mike Owen, Tipp City, OH as well as grandchildren; Kyla and Mariah Blankenship and Cortney Motter and great grandchild; Jaleah Baker and numerous nieces and nephews. Kay was a 1995 graduate of the Kettering College of Medical Arts, University of Phoenix, and had earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health care services. She was a registered respiratory therapist at the Cardiac Pulmonary Rehab Center associated with Springfield Regional Medical Center and was a past member of the Ohio Society for Respiratory Care. Kay was also a member of the Upper Valley Community Church, and a former member of the Echo Lake Kennel Club, both in Piqua, OH. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371, Pastor Andy Monnin officiating. Visitation from 6 to 8 PM prior to the service at the funeral home, burial in Maple Hill Cemetery at a later date. Contributions may be made in memory of Kay to Hospice of Miami County.
