Smith-Couch, Elizabeth A., 37 of Tipp City, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 4, 2014 in Marshall, Michigan. Beth was born September 15, 1976 to Joseph E. and Karen L. (Arnett) Smith in Troy, Ohio. She graduated from Tipp City High School in 1995 and then earned an Associates Degree from Edison Community College and later worked at Miami County Family Abuse Shelter and Miami County Jobs and Family Services. She is survived by her daughter, Allison Hempy; parents, Joseph and Karen Smith; sister Lisa (John) Bishop; nieces Laely and Maya Bishop, all of Tipp City, Ohio; grandfather, Joseph C. Smith and paternal aunt, April Rodgers, of Chiefland, FL and maternal aunt, Carol (Winston) Vore, of West Milton, OH; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother and her maternal grandparents. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St, Tipp City, OH 45371.
