Obituary

Knobeloch, Elizabeth "Betty" {Neburka}, Tipp City, OH passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 at Dorothy Love Retirement Community, Sidney, OH. Born September 3, 1930 in Chicago, IL to the late William M. and Ruth {Taylor} Neburka. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dale Knobeloch in 2006. She is survived by her daughters, Karen (Scott) Nesbitt, Cincinnati, OH, Joyce (David) Magness, Chaska, MN, Nancy (Bruce) Long, Troy, OH and Diane (Mark) Dunn, Toledo, OH, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving are brother Jack Neburka and his family, Portland, OR and sister Jo Ann Haley and her family, Wheaton, IL.

Betty and Dale met at Purdue University in Indiana, married and made several service moves before settling in Tipp City. She taught in area schools, and was involved in Camp Fire Girls, Year-Round Garden club, Daughters of the American Revolution, Embroiders Guild of America; she was a Community Education Instructor and County Fair Judge and was a member of the Tipp City United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Tipp City United Methodist Church, 8 W. Main St, Tipp City, OH; Pastor Bonita Ritchie officiating, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371 and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Contributions may be made in loving memory of Betty to the Tipp City United Methodist Church Building Fund.
