Obituary

E. Irene Miller of Tipp City, Ohio passed away peacefully at her residence on Monday, December 27, 2021. Irene was born on May 16, 1927 in Salina Venango County, PA to the late John Roland and Alice Ulrika {Johnston} Hoover. She is survived by her husband of 70 years William E. Miller and children Brian L. Miller, Tipp City, Molly (Don) Stephens, Olive Hill, Kentucky, Keith (Cheryl) Miller, Hilliard, Ohio, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was a housewife and genealogist.

She was one of the authors of the Studebaker Family History of America and Editor, Photographer, foreword of the history of Miami County history book 1981. A written author of the Pioneer Family 1736-1966. She was a member of the Historical Society of Ohio and a lifetime member of the Miami County Historical & Genealogical Society. Irene was a 66 year member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and past Regent of the Piqua Lewis Boyer Chapter. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Tippecanoe Chapter 307, a life member of the Tipp City Senior Citizens, and a past President of the Tipp City Historical Society.

A visitation will be held for Irene on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 12:00-2:00 PM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME , 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45731. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Kristen Zimmen officiating. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.
