Houser, Duane Earl 78 of Bethel Township, Tipp City passed away at his home on Friday March 18, 2011 following a lengthy illness. Born June 19, 1932 in Miami County to Earl and Mae {Pottinger} Houser. Duane retired from Delco Moraine where he worked as a security guard. He was also a farmer and worked on the family farm for many years. A member of the Eagles in both New Carlisle and Tipp City, VFW, Tipp City and the Troy Fish and Game. He is preceded in death by his parents; Earl and Mae Houser and wife Virginia in 1989. Surviving our his children; Gary and his wife Loretta Houser, Tipp City, Galen and his wife Heather Houser and Gail and his wife Bonnie Houser, both of Bethel Township, sister; Raynell and her husband Richard Ording, Tipp City, grandchildren; Patricia, Logan, Hannah, Destiny and Katie Houser and great grandson; Hayden all of Bethel Township. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, Ohio 45371, burial to follow in Maple Hill cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation 5 to 8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made in Duane's name to Hospice of Miami County.
