Slattery, Douglas M. 51 of Tipp City passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at home after a 2 year battle with cancer. Born June 13, 1964 in Troy, OH to James A. and Judy {McDermott} Slattery. He is survived by his parents, Jim and Judy Slattery, Tipp City, wife, Pamela {Thurmond} Slattery, Tipp City, children, Tracy Fitch and her fiancAC.e Justin McKee, Indianapolis, IN, Kristen and her husband Bryant Zeller, Troy, OH and Doug Slattery Jr., Tipp City along with his grandmother, Marie Powell, Tipp City, brother, Greg (Karen) Slattery, New Carlisle, OH, sister, Jane (Kevin) Tamai, Virginia and 5 grandchildren, Bailey, Keilie, Rylan, Lilly & Jaycen. Doug attended Tippecanoe High school and worked for many years at La Piazza as a cook. He enjoyed flower gardening. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, July 17, 2015 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371.
