Skaggs, Doris June 84 of West Charleston, Bethel Township passed away on Monday October 10, 2016 at SpringMeade Health Center, Tipp City, OH. Born June 29, 1932 in Miami County, OH to Fredrick and Martha {Taylor} Bowers. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earsten Skaggs, brothers, Marvin "Sonny" Bowers, William Halden Bowers, sisters, Mildred Elliott, Marilyn Mumford, and grandson, Kenny. She is survived by her children; Shirley (Kenneth) Cutlip, New Carlisle, OH, Janet (Larry) Skeens, Bainbridge, OH and Terry (Denise) Skaggs, Tremont City, OH, 2 sisters, Karolyn (Steve) Stocker, Tipp City, Jean Rivera, Conover, OH, and brother, Harold Bowers, Quincy, OH, 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Doris attended Cove Spring Church, Elizabeth Township. She enjoyed country music, shopping, doing crossword puzzles, playing cards and being with her family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, October 14, 2016 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371; Pastor Greg Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Vandalia, OH. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, at the funeral home.
