Linville, Doris M. (nee Logue) of Tipp City, passed away on June 25, 2016 at the age of 86. She was born to the late Harry W. Logue and Florence (Knox) Logue Hignite. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband James E. Linville whom she married on November 30, 1946. She is survived by 5 sons, James, Steven (caregiver), and Craig of Tipp City, Michael of West Milton, Christopher (Emily) of Troy. Two daughters, Julia (Charles) Wade and Joy (Sergio Lara), both of Tipp City and her sister, Patricia A. Callahan of Charles Town, WV. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren - Julie, Brandy, Dustin, Ryan, Christopher, Ethan, Trisha, Tony, Jamie, Madison, Dakota, and Cara, and many great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. The last of her cousins - Joe Linville, Irene Triplett and Raymond Knox. She retired from the Downtown Dayton, Sears and Roebuck store after 30+ years of loyal service. She was a talented quilter, seamstress, and did many types of needlework. She was also a great cook and an avid reader. She loved her family and friends, but greatly missed her husband Jim and her Mom and was ready to 'go home' so she could be reunited with them. The family wishes to thank Hospice of Miami County for their quick response and support and to thank Dixie, Liz, Ashley, Heather, Bevan, Dorothy and especially Millie who was there to help our Mom begin her new life. Donations to Hospice of Miami County in her memory will be greatly appreciated. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Mom - until we meet again we'll look for your light among the stars. Hug Dad for us - we love you both! Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Dayton, OH. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until time of service at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
