Barnhart, Donald Milton Sr. 92 of Columbus, formerly of Tipp City died Saturday, August 30, 2014. Born December 2, 1921 in Tippecanoe City, OH to Milton M. and Cordella Mae {Hoover} Barnhart. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife; Evelyn Barnhart in 2006, and sister Jean Murphy. His is survived by his son; Donald (Debby) Barnhart Jr., Columbus, OH, sisters; Betty Eickhoff, and Peg McDonald both of Tipp City, granddaughter; Lauren Barnhart, Columbus, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. Donald attended Tippecanoe City Public Schools and graduated from the University of Dayton. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Corp. during WWII from 1942-1945 in North Africa, Italy and France. He retired from Headquarters Air Force Logistics Command at WPAFB, where he was employed as a Labor Relations Specialist. Donald was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, Dayton, OH and a life member of the Frank E. Robinson American Legion Post #586, Tipp City. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371, Pastor Bonita Ritchie officiating, burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home.
