Engel, Diana Marie age 78 of Bethel Township, Tipp City, OH passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at StoryPoint Senior Living, Troy, OH. Born January 12, 1940 in Hapers Ferry, Iowa to Arthur and Patricia {Cavanaugh} Delphey. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Richard Delphey, and sister Mary Ann Etscheidt. Diana is survived by her husband, Duane L. Engel, daughter, Krista (Richard) "Rick" Mitchell, Springboro, OH, brothers, Norman (Dorothy) Delphey, Harpers Ferry, Iowa, Fred (Jeanene) Delphey, Waukon, Iowa, sister, Suzy Delphey, Waukon, Iowa, sister in-law, Mary Kay Delphey, Iowa and grandchildren, Amanda and Nick Mitchell. Diana was a chemistry and mathematics teacher, a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Tipp City and a lifetime member of the N. E. A. Funeral service at Noon on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371. Father R. Marc Sherlock, officiating; burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation 10:30 AM until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
