Obituary

Stinson, Dawn R. (Hines) of Troy, passed unexpectedly Saturday, July 11, 2015 at the age of 48. She was born in Dayton, OH on August 6, 1966. Dawn was a devoted and caring mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend. She is survived by her loving parents Toni (Gary) Lorton of Tipp City and Gary (Paula) Hines of Englewood, FL. She is also survived by her husband of 15 years, James Stinson of Vandalia, and her four sons Todd (Amanda) Schilling of Union, Matt Schilling of Tipp City, Caleb and William Stinson of Vandalia. She is survived by her sister, Christa Jessee (Brian Macy) and nephews Garrett and Hunter Jessee of Tipp City and step-sister Lisa Kerrick of St. Petersburg, FL. Dawn had many extended family members and close friends who miss her dearly. Dawn attended the University of Dayton where she received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Communication. She loved education and taught at Edison Community College, Sinclair and Clark State. She was actively involved in the St. Patrick Church and School in Troy, OH. Please visit with family and friends at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH on Wednesday, July 15 from 5 pm to 8 pm to celebrate the life of Dawn, with a memorial service following visitation hours.
