Giesseman, David W. age 75, of Waynesville, Ohio formerly of Tipp City, Ohio died Friday, May 18, 2018 following a  lengthy illness.  Born April 1, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio to Marion and Phyllis  (Woodruff ) Giesseman.  David retired from the Sales Department of Valley Janitorial Supplies, Hamilton, Ohio. He was a member of the Tipp City United Methodist Church until he moved to his daughter's home due to his illness. He is preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his daughter Beverly Sue (Seagraves) Brown.  Surviving are his daughter Kelley (Kurt) Purkey, Waynesville, Ohio; sister Judy Richards, Centerville and brother, Norman Giesseman, Troy.  Three granddaughters Kami, Kerstyn and Kenzie Purkey.  David loved cars especially his 1964 Corvette, he was a huge sports fan of the Browns and OSU. He was a beloved father and grandfather.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 10:30 am at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371 with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.  Contributions may be made in loving memory of David to Hospice of Dayton.
