Trupp, Daniel K. age 83 of Troy, Ohio formerly of Tipp City, Ohio for 81 years, passed away peacefully at his home on July 6, 2023. He was born May 2, 1940 in the house he grew up in on South First Street in Tipp City, Ohio to the late Forrest and Berniece (Dixson) Trupp. Danny is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Larry Trupp, sister-in-law; Sarah Trupp, brother-in-law; Bill Weaver, and wife Nancy of 61 years, Danny is survived by his children; Beth (Sanford) Smith of Tipp City, Matthew (Sharon) Trupp of Kentucky, Amy (Myron) Krebs of Tipp City, Molly (Jeff) Pope of Farmersville and Susan (Joe) North of St. Paris, and sister Sandra (Trupp) Weaver of Troy Oh. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren; Megan, Daniel, Emma, Josey, Forrest, Jordan, Elizabeth, Hannah, Zac, Emelie, Luke, Hunter and Anna and, 10 great-grandchildren and numerous, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dan worked for the City of Tipp City, as the Superintendent of the Electric Department, retiring in 1989 after 30 years. He served on the Tipp City council from 1992-1995, as the council president. Danny was a very good-hearted person, who took care of his family, friends and neighbors. He was always willing to help whenever he was needed, loyal to all he knew, and he was so loved by many.

Danny's family will miss the numerous stories, jokes, and anecdotes he would tell over and over. He was known by many as Dan, Danny, Daniel and Truppee and said "he didn't care what anyone called him as long as they didn't call him late to dinner."

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM Friday, July 14, 2023 at Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371.
