Miller, Sgt. Daniel E. age 69 of Tipp City passed away, Wednesday, December 9, 2020.  Born January 21, 1951 in Dayton, OH to the late Edward and Fannie Mae {Stamps} Miller.  Along with his parents Dan is preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Miller in 2020 and sister, Mary Knisley.  He is survived by his wife, Kimberly {Huffman}, Tipp City, OH, children; Jacob Miller, Tipp City, Kasey (Zac) Fox, Tipp City, OH, Josh Adkins, Kettering, OH, Heidi (Nick) Collinsworth, Huber Heights, OH, sister, Barbara Gebhart, Hamilton, OH and brother in-law, Dan Knisley, Kentucky as well as 9 grandchildren.

Dan proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp. during Vietnam then served his community as a Tipp City police officer from September 9, 1977 until he retired as a sergeant May 27, 2006.  He was a member of the American Legion Post #586, Tipp City, OH, VFW 9582, Vandalia, OH where he served as the canteen manager and the Troy Fish and Game Club.

Visitation 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, December 14, 2020 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, O 45371. Graveside service and burial, Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 9:30 AM at the Dayton National Cemetery.
