Obituary

Craig J. Muhlenkamp, 39, of Cincinnati, formerly of Tipp City, passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017. He was born May 19, 1978, in Dayton, to the late William L. "Bill" Muhlenkamp and Rose (Benanzer) Muhlenkamp. He married Lisa Moorman; she survives in Cincinnati. Craig is survived by his mother, Rose of Tipp City; his children, Courtney Clare and Connor Leon Muhlenkamp of Cincinnati; two sisters, Krista (Tony) Bensman of Conover and Ann (Bob) Henderson of Westerville; father-in-law and mother-in-law Jerry and Kathy Moorman of Cincinnati; sister-in-law Karen (Nick) Braun of Cincinnati; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his father, William L. "Bill" Muhlenkamp. Craig was a 1996 graduate of Tippecanoe High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree from Ohio University. He worked for Convergys in Cincinnati. He was a member of St. Dominic Parish in Delhi, where he was actively involved with the youth sports programs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 14, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 753 S. Hyatt St., Tipp City. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at Frings & Bayliff Funeral Home, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, with additional visitation from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Craig to the Kettering Medical Center Foundation, 3535 Southern Blvd., Kettering, OH 45429.
