Metzger, Connie Jo age 70 formerly of Tipp City, OH passed away in Hartland, WI on Saturday, May 9, 2020.  Born April 1, 1950 in Dayton, OH to Harold James and Martha {Joseph} Lockhart.  She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, William Kenneth Metzger.  Connie is survived by her sons, William "Bill" (Staci) Metzger Jr., Troy, OH and Jeremy "Jerry" (Susan) Metzger, Hartland, WI, brother Harold "Jim" Lockhart, Tipp City and grandchildren; Stephanie & Courtney Metzger, Troy, OH, and Abigail "Abbey", Jeremiah & Anna Metzger, Hartland, WI.

Connie had been a writer and journalist for the Tipp-Herald newspaper.  She enjoyed spending time with family and especially loved time with her grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.  Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, Tipp City.
