McKibben, Charlton K. "Mac"  age 85 of Dayton, Ohio passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023. He was born July 15, 1938 in Darke County, Ohio to Chester and Florence (Hipple) McKibben. Mac is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Charlene Jockel; daughter-in-law, Jenny McKibben; and his wife of over 40 years, Sharon McKibben. He is survived by sons Arthur (Angie) McKibben and Alan (Margie) McKibben, all of Dayton, Ohio; and nephew Ted Jockel, of Greenville, Ohio. Also surviving are grandchildren Joe McKibben and Jessie (Dain) Sykes; and four great grandchildren - Vada, Wyatt & Audrey Sykes, and Emily McKibben.

Mac retired as a Research Engineer for Charles Kettering Research Labs. He enjoyed the many company picnics, held over the years by his employer, at John Bryant Park. Mac was an avid fisherman and liked being a homebody. He and Sharon were founding members of the Double H Square Dancing Club. Mac was a fan of international cuisine, and was fortunate enough to have once circumnavigated the world.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371.
