Phillips, Charles E. Sr., age 75 of Troy, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023. Born May 13, 1947 in Troy, Ohio to Herman L. and Thelma Phillips. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife; Linda Phillips who passed January 6, 2023. Charles is survived by children; Tabitha Parkinson of Dayton, Ohio and Charles "Chad" (Amanda Wolfe) Phillips Jr. of Christiansburg, Ohio, brother; Leroy (Gail) Phillips of Florida, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Charles was a member of Skyview Wesleyan Church. He enjoyed watching college sports and the NFL.  He loved watching the Pittsburg Steelers, Kentucky Wildcats and was a diehard Cincinnati Reds fan. He and Linda enjoyed going to soup kitchens to socialize. Charles served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, Ohio 45371. Pastor John Hughes officiating. Burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City.  In Lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate assistance with funeral expenses. Donations may be made to Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home.
