Magness, Charles L. age 57 of West Chester, OH, formerly of Tipp City passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019.  Born March 20, 1962 in Troy, OH to the late Glen E and Ruth Ann {Gries} Magness.  He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry {Wells} Magness, daughter, Lauren E. Magness and son, Michael C. Magness all of West Chester.  Also surviving are siblings, Catherine Magness, Kettering, OH, William (Kimberly) Magness, Phillipsburg, OH, Richard (Rhonda) Magness, Miamisburg, OH, David (Joyce) Magness, Earlysville, VA, Margaret Magness, Kettering, OH, Carol (Allen) Weimer, Beavercreek, OH, Janet Magness, Franklin, TN, James Magness, Kettering, OH, John (Melissa) Magness, Lebanon, OH, Fran (Seth) Rosenberg, Lima, OH and Robert (Robyne) Magness, Lebanon, OH, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Charles was a 1980 graduate of Tippecanoe High School and moved to West Chester, OH in 2002.  He was a huge fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, enjoyed March Madness and was fond of Golden Retrievers and Bernese Mountain dogs.  Charles had an appreciation for theatrical productions – musical and otherwise.  He passed these loves down to his children.  Above all else, Charles loved his family.  He will be remembered for his kindness and warm smile that he readily shared with everyone and his contagious laugh that will echo in our memories forever.

Funeral service Saturday November 9, 2019 at St.  John the Baptist Catholic Church; 753 S. Hyatt St. Tipp City, OH.  Visitation Saturday,  10:00 AM until time of service at Noon at the church.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Magness education fund being set up at PNC Bank or a local theatre company of your choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 w.
