Charles E.
Heisey
May 4, 1930 – October 12, 2016
Charles E. Heisey, 86, of Tipp City passed away peacefully, at 2:10, the morning of October 12, with his wife of 60 years, Georgia, at his side.
Charles was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Army branch, during 1951-1953. He also served in the Army Reserves for 5 years. He was employed for a large part of his life at N.C.R. as an Electronic's Technician.
Charles loved spending time in his garden and outdoors watching his beautiful birds, for which he spent many hours building birdhouses. During his life, too, he loved playing his guitar.
His favorites of all, though, were his family, Charlie's Angels, (as he fondly called them)... Wife, Georgia Mae, and daughters Angela DeCloedt (William), and Lisa Telder (Richard) of Alpharetta, GA. Two Granddaughters, Allison Kane (Christopher) and Hope Telder both of Georgia, were his life's delight.
Charles is also survived by two sisters, Luella Reck of Bradford, Bernice Davis of Covington, and brother Donald Heisey also of Bradford and sister in-law, Martha Luella Green, Tipp City and many loved nieces and nephews. Charles was predeceased by his parents, John D. Heisey and Opal Heisey of Bradford and brother in-law, J. Kenneth Baker, of Fletcher, Ohio.
A special thank you goes to Miami County Hospice for their never-ending strength and support. Their dedication and loving care of our Father and Husband, Charles, was more than we could have ever imagined in his final days. Thank you, also to Pastor Dan Glover and Associate Pastor Bonita Ritchie of Tipp City United Methodist Church for their unfailing support and loving dedication to our Family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Tipp City United Methodist Church from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with funeral to be held immediately following. Interment will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund of Tipp City United Methodist Church or Miami County Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St. Tipp City, OH 45371.
