Charles "Chuck" Helman, age 47 years, passed away unexpectedly in Tipp City, OH on August 10, 2015. Chuck was born on February 15, 1968 in Escanaba, MI to Donald and Carol "Jean" Helman. Chuck married Diane Gareau on May 2, 1992. They spent their first 4 years in Sumter SC. They moved to Okinawa Japan where they spent 3 years, Charleston SC for 2 years and Okinawa Japan for 5 years before returning to the States and settling in Tipp City OH. Chuck worked for the Air Force Audit Agency for over 24 years as auditor, Team Chief, Audit Manager, and Program Manager. Chuck loved hunting and fishing at his cabins and spending time with his family. He was a die-hard Green Bay Packer fan. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Donald Helman, deceased in 2012. Chuck is survived by his wife, Diane, children, Jessica and Chad Helman, mother Carol "Jean" Helman of Gladstone, MI ; siblings Pam (Mark) Corcoran of Flint MI; Danny, David, Tina and Deb Helman, of Gladstone MI; Lori (Billy) Ragsdale, Mary (Marshall) Brown, and Joey (Laurie) Helman of Belton, SC, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be held August 19, 2015 at St. Christopher's Catholic Church from 5-8pm in Vandalia OH with Father Frank officiating. Funeral mass is Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 10:30am at St. Christopher's Catholic Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371.
