Barnes, Charles E. age 85 of Tipp City passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, OH. Born August 19, 1931 in Hartwell, West Virginia to Arthur Creed Barnes and Cynthia Ella {Quesenberry} Barnes. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Roy, Junior, Marshall & George Barnes and sisters; Hazel Brown, Goldie Meadows and Ollie Mae Hatfield. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Dora {Cantrell} Barnes, son, Jeff Barnes and daughter Suzie Barnes all of Tipp City and one grandson, Noah Barnes. Also surviving are brother, Lawrence (Shirley) Barnes, Fletcher, OH and sister, Shirley Bernstein, Coolidge Georgia. Charlie will be missed by his family and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Noon on Monday, June 19, 2017 at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME, 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371; Pastor Lynn Labs officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until time of service at Noon on Monday at the funeral home.
