McClain, Casey Keith age 43, of Tipp City passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 2, 2024.  He was born March 27, 1981 in Hillsboro, Ohio.  He is survived by his loving partner, Katherine Kaney, & their 3 sons, Eli, Isaiah, & Jonah; his mother, Jenny Baron of Hillsboro; his father Keith (Dolores Coffman) McClain of St. Martin; his sisters - Kelly (Jason) Schmidt of Waynesville and Stacey Baron of Wilmington; father-in-law Kevin (Melanie) Kaney of Tipp City; special siblings - Andrea Coffman of New Vienna, Todd (Carlee) Coffman of St. Martin, Michelle (Brandon) Feldhaus of St. Martin, Patricia (Eric) Brink of Fayetteville, Shannon (Derrick) Lawson of Huber Heights, Heather (Anthony) Petro of Stillwater, OK, Jonathan (Valarie) Kaney of Springboro, Kevin Kaney Jr. of Huber Heights & Andrew Kaney of Huber Heights; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, & friends.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and paternal grandparents. Casey was a graduate of Lynchburg-Clay High School and Wright State University.  He was a lifelong learner who dug deep into anything that grabbed his interest.  He loved cooking for his family, working with electronics, and sports - especially baseball.  Anyone who knew Casey also knew that he was an incredibly talented musician with the ability to play any song by ear and to learn any instrument.  He passed his love of cooking, sports, and music on to his biggest loves and proudest accomplishments - his children.  Teaching his boys brought him so much joy!  He will be loved and remembered through the music and memories he left behind.

A visitation was held Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Victory Church, Tipp City. Chaplin Randy Reed officiated. Casey is laid to rest at Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution to please consider donating to his sons' college fund.
